What's behind "immersive SIM engineering" ?

"SIM" stands for simulation, in our case for Finite Elements Analyses, which are our core competence.

The word "immersive" is meant to describe the purpose of a simulation: To achieve better physical understanding of an engineering problem.

Furthermore, "immersive" is a catchword oftenly associated with virtual reality in which it means entering a three-dimensional virtual world, built up by projecting technologies in special rooms (CAVE). Within the few last years, these techniques have undergone vast improvements especially in automotive industries. As far as the visualization of FEA results-data is concerned, their range of applications is farly exceeding the capacities of today's standard post-processing techniques.
